Students complete this lab and show their knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer, insulation, and conductors. This is geared as a substitute activity with relatively low level thinking questions. However, the videos and plight of the Hellbender is engaging to a wide range and multiple levels of students! This assignment includes many science standards including limiting factors, endangered species, the scientific method, and collecting/interpreting data.
