Hola! =) My name is, Michael. I graduated with a degree in Spanish and with Secondary Education in 2004. My experience includes teaching the Spanish language to students ranging from 2nd through 12th grade. I preferred teaching 12th grade, because it had granted me the opportunity to teach the more advanced classes. I am no longer teaching for now (teaching positions are rather arduous to find); however, I am not giving up. =)

Basic Spanish Math Test (32 Problems)
This is a basic math test for students to answer in Spanish. It contains 6 parts.
Part One: Five basic math problems
Part Two: Which number will follow? (3 of these)
Part Three: How do you spell the following numbers in Spanish? (9 of these)
Part Four: Listening Skills: Teacher says a number in Spanish, and students write down the number
Part Five: Spelling: Students will see a written number in Spanish and determine if it is spelled correctly or not.

A powerpoint presentation on the future tense in Spanish. This contains the verb endings for the regular verbs, and also, it contains the conjugations of some of the irregulars. Furthermore, there is an activity for students to practice.

Time, Vocabulary, and Exercises in Spanish
This begins with the basics of telling time in Spanish (son las dos, son las tres, etc...). Next, it begins to add some minutes to the time (son las dos y cinco, son las tres y veinte). Furthermore, it discusses what happens after the half hour mark in Spanish (Son las tres menos cinco). Also, it contains some Spanish vocabulary pertaining to time (por la tarde, etc...) Lastly, there are some exercises for the students to try on their own.

This lesson has Spanish numbers 0--1,000. Furthermore, it has 10 math problems as a mini activity (for practice), as well as basic math vocabulary; that way, it's a nice little practice exercise, and it gives the students a chance to practice the numbers in mathematical terms.

DESCRIBES WHAT AN INFINITIVE IS, AS WELL AS A "STEM" OF A VERB IS. FURTHERMORE, IT DISCUSSES SUBJECT PRONOUNS, BOTH SPANISH TO ENGLISH TRANSLATIONS. This contains all the letters of the Spanish language in one column. Then, in the next column is how one would say the letter in Spanish. This is a Spanish. Math test. The first section is solving basic math problems in Spanish. Part two is translate from English to Spanish. Part three is, "How many______are there?"(contains pictures) The last section is basic problem solving (example: If Maria is 25-years old....), and students are to answer in Spanish. Teachers can also choose to use this as a classroom activity rather than a test.
