This guessing game is a great way to introduce your Africa unit! Our students may have misconceptions about what modern life in Africa is truly like. They may not be aware of how developed and industrialized it has become. I usually have my students guess the location of each of the pictures in the slideshow. As we go over the answers, it is revealed that all of the pictures are various locations in Africa. Students are shocked as the pictures depict cities, shorelines, and resorts. Answer slide
