5 Days of Creative Journal Prompts. Leaves space for daily language. Can create one without space for daily language if desired. Fun prompts like "Imagine you're a doctor, what kind of doctor would you be," "Imagine you're one inch tall, what would you do on a Sunday."
Used with a unit on explorers. Asks students to label a map with cardinal/intermediate directions, oceans, continents, as well as trade routes by Vasco de Gama and Bartolomeu Dias.
Great game for students to come up with words. Students are given consonants and vowels to create a "challenge" word. Based on these letters, students come up with their own 2, 3, 4, and higher letter words.
Great anchor chart to introduce editing workshop. Shows students when to change paragraphs.
Chart allows students to walk through each editing mark and what its purpose is.

I graduated from BGSU in 2010 with my Bachelor's in Middle Childhood Education. I have specializations in Reading/Language Arts and Social Studies. I graduated from BGSU again in 2022 with my Masters in Curriculum and Teaching.
