About the store
I started my journey first working as a cognitive motor coach followed by sports coaching when I was younger. It wasn't until college when I knew I wanted to become a teacher. As a result, I worked hard to get my bachelor's degree, and I am currently finishing up my MAT in Elementary teaching. While I was finishing up my undergraduate degree, I had picked up substitute teaching to get more reversed in a classroom setting. I absolutely loved it, and I could not wait for my own classroom. Now, I am a fourth-grade teacher with some background in teaching first grade. I am very passionate about differentiation and small group learning. I am a strong advocate that everyone and anyone can learn no matter the barriers. As a result, I am hoping to share some of my resources I loved creating and using inside my classroom with you all while continuing to collaborate and support other amazing teachers!

Experience

Teaching style

My teaching style heavily relies on more hands-on learning and engagement. As a result, I love trying to create activities that incorporate art or even music. I am also a firm believer in teaching whole group concepts and then breaking them out into appropriate level groups for center learning. With that being said, I find it very important to scaffold lessons or approach topics with a step-by-step process. This way students can have more structural support and knowledge to apply the skills they learned to future projects.

Additional biographical information

I have a love for teaching and a passion in creating engaging and diverse activities for students to use! I have a strong belief that not everyone learns the same way, so I always love finding or developing differentiated lesson plans/activities. I firmly believe that learning can be fun and exciting for all ages, so I hope my creations truly embody these beliefs. If you ever have any special requests, I am always happy to change and create new designs!
