About the store
I started teaching 8th grade science in NYC and loved the experience. Now I am much closer to home teaching 6th grade for a few years and now back to 8th. I am a special education co-teacher (ICT). Throughout the years I have enjoyed making all my own material. Most of it started with Interactive Science Notebooks that required lots of foldables.
I also conduct workshops and professional developments on Google for education. I have decided to sell on TPT when my son was born in order to provide an additional income with the new addition to the family. I was not sure what to expect at the time, but never imagined the joy and opportunities it would afford me. I am looking forward to the sharing my creations with fellow teachers.

I live in the Boston area with my husband and our son and identical twin girls. We spend several weeks each year in Maine and the Sarasota, Florida area. If you are in any of those areas I would love to meet up with you at some point.

Student Test Correction & Reflection Sheet (PDF & Google Doc included)
This worksheet is given to students when they get a test or quiz back. Students can complete their test corrections on this worksheet. The benefit of this worksheet is that it prompts students to reflect on what they may have done to choose the wrong answer and also reflect on how they prepared for the assessment. There is also a spot designated for parent signature. The last page of the pdf has the link to the GOOGLE DOC, which you can make a copy of and make any edits you would like.

Hello! This is an natural disaster project description that students follow in order to pick a natural disaster that interests them the most and create an engaging presentation using Google Slides. A description of what needs to be on each slide is listed. When students present their natural disaster, the students in the audience can answer the guided questions. These questions are included and are in a google doc.

Teachers! Keep track of who is using the bathroom and for how long by utilizing a bathroom sign out sheet. Make it your classroom policy for students to sign out when they leave and sign back in when they return.

Assignment Guide Template for each lesson per unit
Teachers! Get fancy with this assignment guide. Lay out your unit by listing each lesson on this assignment guide. You can then add the topic and learning target for each lesson. The first lesson on the assignment guide has a video linked so students can preview topics before class or review topics after class. I have found it helpful to find videos no longer than 5 minutes for each lesson. At the end of each lesson, students reflect on their understanding by rating it out of 3 in the last colum

Use this presentation to discuss the purpose of students setting goals for themselves. There is a Will Smith video clip embedded in the powerpoint that makes the presentation relevant and engaging to students. Teaching style
MY TEACHING STYLE
I am a huge fan of inquiry and allowing students to be the center of their learning. If I prepare a lesson well enough, it runs it's and I am allowed to be the facilitator.
