I taught Geometry, Algebra 2, Precalculus, and Statistics my first year of teaching. Since then, I have been teaching at the middle school level. I currently teach 6th and 7th grade math, and I love every second of it.
This worksheet has 21 problems that asks students to compare ( < , > , or =) rational numbers (fractions, decimals, and mixed numbers). It's more focused on 7th grade math standards, but could also be used for 6th grade honors or 8th grade support/review.
This worksheet was designed to be used as homework for my 6th grade students. Questions ask students to compare fraction, compare decimals, order rational numbers, choose the greater number, and write a rational number between two given rational numbers.

Experience
I taught Geometry, Algebra 2, Precalculus, and Statistics my first year of teaching. Since then, I have been teaching at the middle school level. I currently teach 6th and 7th grade math, and I love every second of it.
Teaching style
I am a pretty relaxed teacher, as I have always been able to quickly establish a good rapport with my students. They know that I'm all for having fun, but that meaningful learning also needs to happen. I try to keep my direct instruction short, and spend time practicing concepts in an engaging manner.
My own education history
I went to school in the same district my entire life, and graduated high school with highest honors. I also graduated college with honors, and received my teaching credential right after. Since that wasn't enough for me, I then went for my Master's Degree. I now have my M.Ed in Math Curriculum and Instruction, and I couldn't be happier.
Additional biographical information
I have always had a passion for teaching math, as well as create resources to be used in the classroom.
