I've had the privilege of teaching math to middle and high school students, from 6th grade through Calculus. My passion lies in creating a classroom where students can experience the genuine math joy that comes from discovery and discussion. Great for practicing unit rates in small groups!Contents:14 task cards for finding unit rate, including "better buy" questions2 options for student handouts Answer KeyInstructions for Use:Small Group:Each group gets a set of task cards and each student gets a handout to record their answers on. Teaching style
I am equally interested in inquiry-based learning and gaming theory, which is reflected in my classroom materials featuring real world questions and lots of collaboration and games. I believe the secret to success in math is a balanced approach that ensures every student has an opportunity to access the curriculum.
