Students search puzzles for values to create triangle trios. Two puzzles are provided. One puzzle is for The Triangle Inequality Theorem (side length values), and the other is for The Interior Angle Sum Theorem (angle values).
This 16 question "loop" is an engaging way for students to practice converting between fractions, percents and decimals. A variety of questions are given, as well as a recording sheet. The printed file is in the correct order, so as to provide answer key. Be sure to mix up the problems before you place them around the room. Two Detours and two Roadblocks are provided for some additional practice as well. These can be placed at any of the other stations for added fun.
Through a familiar fairy tale, students practice comparing the probability of an event through the use of qualitative and quantitative statements and descriptors.
Students often need a reminder of how to calculate mean, median, mode and/or range of a given set of data. In this activity, students will practice just that. However, this activity is more than just practice. It is self-checking, and differentiated with student choice and enrichment.
This self-checking activity is practice for finding the missing angle measurement in a triangle. It can be set up in stations or completed as task cards. Recording sheet is provided.
This activity is a Scavenger Hunt Loop. It has 3 levels of problems, each with a color version and a gray-scale version. Self-checking answer key is included.
Students use a given statement, and then analyze 4 conclusions/methods to see if they match the given statement. A recording sheet is provided for students to justify their choices.
