About the store
I have been fortunate enough to be a teacher for the past 30+ years. I have taught in both an urban setting and two rural communities. One being in the mountains of Appalachia. Currently I teach 6th grade ELA in the largest school district in the state of Ohio. I am k-8 certified with my BS in Elementary Education and a Masters in Elementary Education with a Science emphasis. The past 5 years I have been the English Department Chair for my school and have presented professionally on many occasions.

Experience

Teaching style

I believe that my teaching style would best be described as student centered. The students guide my instruction daily and it changes from year to year. My classrooms are engaging and hardworking. Data is at the core of my instruction making sure that all of my students receive the education that they deserve.
