Formatted in PowerPoint, a Cartesian grid. The values go from -10 to 10. To edit the numbers, follow these steps. Go to Edit, choose select all; go to Format then arrange choose un-group. Now you can access the numbers. To edit the size of the actual grid, just click on the grid and stretch. Note: You may have to adjust the numbers as you adjust the size of the grid.

-20 to 20 number line

Using a word document, I created a number line -20 to 20. I printed out the document on card stock then spliced it together for individual number lines at my students' desks. It is tedious but worth it, I did take it a step further and laminated the number lines before I taped it to each desk in my classroom.

I have been teaching 7th grade math since 2011. Before that, I taught Life Skills, aka, Family and Consumer Science, for 9 years.

Teaching style

Awards & shining teacher moments

I have written several grants. Won the Jump and Go grant with BlueCross/BlueShield back in 2013. And have since won several grants with a local foundation named, AEFI, Inc.

My own education history

Graduated with Bachelor Of Science at UMass/Amherst in 1983. From Fitchburg State University received a Masters in Middle School Education and from Lesley University received a Masters in Middle School Math.

Additional biographical information

Although I grew up in New Jersey, I am very happy with my life in Massachusetts. Feel very blessed.
