This short lab activity uses everyday items to model the formation on craters on the Moon versus the Earth. The plastic wrap in part two represents the atmosphere. Point values are assigned, but can be modified as you see fit. The results and conclusion of the lab are based on student results.
This is a lab activity to model the temperature of outer space with that of the Earth due to the presence of an atmosphere.
