This chart was used for a math assessment that was on a 6-week cycle. Laminate and state which standard/objective you are working towards mastery in and which assessment you are using.

Multiplication Math Mastery Race x10
This mat can be used in a center. Place it inside a sheet protector to be used over and over again. I have the students pair up and quiz each other. If the student says the multiplication sentence and answer correctly the student can place a chip on top of that answer.

I have taught second grade for seven years. This year I moved up to third to try something new!
Teaching style
I enjoy group work and hands on learning. I am trying to integrate more technology into my teaching. When I first started teaching, centers were just starting to become popular. I was a little apprehensive because I wasn't sure what to do; where do teachers get fun centers? Then I realized we can make them ourselves and get to be creative at the same time!
