I used this as a summative quiz for my sixth grade students. There is plenty of rigor prevalent to students who are high achieving and quick learners. For students who need more assistance, I modify the quiz according to their accommodations.

A great tool to assess the beginning or ending of a geometry unit!

This activity is a quick assessment to see whether your students know how to factor and use the distributive property. My students loved this activity and we very successful. I started them all on different numbers to keep things moving!

My students complete a problem of the day each time they come to class. This workspace allows room to show their work, circle answers, and for me to see how they are attempting to solve problems. I use a ticket reward system and students can earn them throughout class for various reasons. This has helped build a great positive relationship! Every Friday I pull 5 names from the jar and those students can come earn one of these coupons to use in class!
