This is the summative test for Unit 2. As all my evaluations I break down into 3 parts: Foundational 55% Moderate 36% High Challenge 9% You could weight these sections differently. The idea here is that most students should be pretty close to 100% on the Foundational and the Moderate sections. The High Challenge is separating the A- from the very high A's on the exam. The goal is that they can use their skills to graph these functions ( not just by pulling up the picture on Desmos or Ti-84) but rather using some algebraic reasoning of how to find the x intercept and y intercept. This assignment deals with evaluating function notation. Most can be done as mental math, but can be used also with entering functions into the TI-84 and using the VARS button to evaluate f(2) for example.
