About the store
Hi, I’m Alysa — the creator behind Mind Over Method (formerly Teachin’ with Flair). I’ve spent years designing thoughtful, classroom-tested resources across grades K–12, with a strong focus on ELA and math instruction. Lately, I’ve been diving deep into RACES writing support for grades 6–12, helping students build confidence, structure, and depth in their written responses. Whether you’re looking for high-quality prompts, differentiated practice, or clear writing scaffolds, I’ve got you covered. My goal is simple: to create resources that challenge thinking, support growth, and make teaching just a little easier. Thanks for stopping by, I’m so glad you’re here!

Teaching style

My classroom approach is always student-centered. I believe that every learner brings unique strengths, needs, and perspectives to the table, and it's my job to meet them where they are. Whether I’m differentiating instruction, scaffolding complex skills, or building in moments for choice and reflection, my goal is to create an environment where all students feel supported, challenged, and seen. I design my resources with that same mindset: flexible, accessible, and built to help students grow with confidence.
