Mindfully Teach

I spent two years as a per diem substitute teacher and another two years as a long term substitute teacher in various grades before my first official teaching position in 2011. I learned a lot from my years of subbing and it has greatly influenced my teaching techniques today.

I am a hands on, keep it fun, exciting, interesting, and active kind of teacher.

BA in Childhood Education from the State University of New York at Cortland and a MSeD in Literacy from the State University of New York at Binghamton. I have New York State certification in Early Childhood Education, Childhood Education, and Literacy B-Grade 6. I have finished my Certificate of Advanced Study in Educational Leadership.

I am a highly motivated and passionate teacher. I have high expectations for my students and for myself. I am constantly looking to better my craft.
