I believe students learn best when they are given:

choice in how they engage and respond
I design learning experiences that encourage students to explore ideas, justify their thinking, and work at a level that stretches their understanding. High-Potential and Gifted Education strategies are embedded in my practice because they allow students to find their own level of challenge, which is both motivating and engaging.
