I have been teaching for over 15 years. Most of my experience is with grades 4-6. 4th grade is my favorite!

I'd best describe my style as inflexible and flexible. I stay acutely focused on what the students need to learn, and then mold my lessons according to the dynamics of the class. Differentiation is key!

Anytime I can integrate my own original lessons and materials is a “Shining Teacher Moment” for me. One of the highlights of my career was when I helped my students write and record their own songs. We created a cd and had a “Release Party.” The local paper came out and took pictures of them dressed up as rock stars, wearing the “backstage passes” we made for the event.

I released an educational cd Catchy Math Jingles which is available though Amazon.com, CD Baby & Etsy.com. The songs are also available for download on most mp3 sites (iTunes, Amazon.com, etc.). Currently, I am working on a language arts album. The first single "Onomatopoeia" can be downloaded from most mp3 sites.
