This visual aide reminds students to add four important parts to every story in order to have "voice" in their story. S = Simile - My face was as round as a ball. Simile uses "like" or "as". O = Onomotopoeia - WOW! BAM! WOSH! OH MY! D = Dialogue - Use quotations in your story. A = Ask a question - This helps to vary sentence structure.
