Reading Increased: Kindle Notes
I use to chuckle when students frowned at my Kindle Paperwhite because it lacked both color and games. However, the same students avoided being selected to read aloud a sentence if not a paragraph during a lesson. At-Risk, alliterate and illiterate students avoid reading on a high school level when they fall within a grade 5-8 reading level, and my Kindle Paperwhite provided a resolution to increase both their reading and engagement in the classroom.
