Mint Learning Academy was founded by Dr. Nicholas Monette, an educator passionate about creating engaging, real-world learning experiences for all learners — from early childhood through adult education. With 5 years of experience in education, including 2 years as a physical education teacher and currently serving as a behavior interventionist at an elementary school, Dr. Monette brings a whole-child approach rooted in practical experience and a commitment to lifelong learning. At Mint Learning Academy, Dr. Monette designs low-prep, high-impact lessons that support academic success, social-emotional growth, life readiness, and career exploration. My own education history

Dr. Nicholas Monette holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Kinesiology, and earned a Doctorate in Educational Leadership with an emphasis in Technology Innovation. His academic background blends human performance, leadership, and instructional design to create impactful, student-centered learning experiences.

Additional biographical information

Dr. Nicholas Monette is an educator, curriculum designer, and instructional leader from Beaumont, Texas, with a passion for supporting learners of all ages. He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Kinesiology and earned his Doctorate in Educational Leadership with a concentration in Technology Innovation from Lamar University. With over a decade of experience in both education and wellness leadership, Dr. Monette has developed programs across university recreation, corporate wellness, and K–12 education, always with a focus on skill development, personal growth, and real-world readiness. He began his career as a Physical Education teacher before transitioning into school leadership as a Behavior Interventionist, where he implemented innovative behavior programs, led campus-wide initiatives, and supported both staff and student development. Today, through Mint Learning Academy, he creates versatile, high-impact resources designed to promote academic growth, career readiness, and lifelong learning for students from early childhood through adulthood. Dr. Monette’s mission is to equip educators with engaging tools that inspire learning, build confidence, and prepare every learner for success—inside the classroom and beyond.
