About the store

Experience

With 35 years of experience teaching general education in K–2 classrooms, I bring a deep love for early learning to everything I create. I now serve as an Inclusion Teacher in a Georgia Pre-K classroom, where I support young learners of all abilities and help build strong foundations for success.

Teaching style

Teach to the TOP! Students will rise to your expectations. I believe every child—including students with disabilities—can achieve great things when given high expectations, intentional support, and meaningful opportunities to succeed.

Awards & shining teacher moments

*I Make a Difference Award *Alabama "Technology Integration Mentor" through the Alabama State Department of Education *Nominee for Muscogee County's 2020 Teacher of the Year

My own education history

As a proud Auburn University graduate, I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Early Childhood Education — War Eagle! I’m now working toward my Special Education certification to expand my knowledge and strengthen my ability to support all learners in inclusive classrooms.

Additional biographical information

I am happily married and blessed with four amazing children, a wonderful son-in-law, three precious grandsons—with another sweet grandson on the way! Our family also includes two sweet Goldendoodle fur-babies who keep life fun and full of love.
