About the store
I’m taking some of the knowledge and skills I learned while earning my doctorate along with almost 30 years of experience teaching STEM concepts to make animations that help teachers increase the use of real-world complex problems. Problem-solving and critical thinking skills are paramount for success in future fields, and I hope to support their development. Video topics range from elementary school computation to functions, supporting math teachers in grades 4 through Algebra. Thinking About Money to Add and Subtract Integers (Lesson Plan Package)

This package includes three lesson plans focusing on adding and subtracting integers. Each lesson plan uses animation as the springboard into an activity. Teaching style

My lesson plans incorporate interactive multimedia in a variety of teaching styles and may be adapted to meet most teachers’ needs. Is interactive multimedia new to you? Instead of your students tuning out when you tune in to instructional video, reach for the pause button to engage them! My animations provide definitions, key standards-based instruction, worked examples, and real-world practice problems. You lead the learning through guided discussion and checks for understanding. You stay in control using pause and rewind to maintain engagement and build mastery.
