About the store
Hi! I’m Alexis — the creator behind Miss B’s Classroom Resources. I’m an elementary educator with a deep love for teaching, learning, and building classrooms where every student feels supported and capable. I grew up in a small Nebraska community, which shaped my belief in hard work, strong relationships, and the importance of showing up for kids every single day. I created this store because I know how overwhelming teaching can be. Teachers are asked to do so much, often with limited time and resources. My goal is to create materials that are realistic, thoughtful, and actually useful—resources I would (and do) confidently use in my own classroom. Every product in this store is made with care, intention, and students in mind. I truly believe that when teachers feel prepared and supported, students thrive. Thank you for being here and for supporting my work. 💛

Teaching style

My teaching style is hands-on, engaging, and student-centered. I believe students learn best when they are actively involved and when learning feels meaningful and fun—often without them even realizing how much they are learning. I focus on creating lessons and activities that feel approachable and enjoyable, while still being intentional and aligned to Nebraska Content Area Standards. Whether students are working collaboratively, using manipulatives, or solving real-world problems, my goal is for learning to feel exciting rather than overwhelming. In my classroom, I value: > Hands-on and interactive learning > Activities that feel fun and engaging > Clear learning targets aligned to standards > Differentiation to support all learners My resources are designed with MAP Growth skills and NSCAS expectations in mind, so teachers can feel confident that their instruction is both engaging and academically sound. I work to strike a balance between rigor and enjoyment—because when students are having fun, they are more motivated, confident, and successful. Above all, I believe that learning should be something students look forward to. When kids feel excited to participate, meaningful learning naturally follows.
