In 8 years of teaching, I have had a world of experiences – literally!
After completing my teacher training in London England, I returned home to Ontario with amazing knowledge and experience in teaching and learning.
In my first five years, things kept changing – 5 different school, with 5 different teaching assignments! Some of my most valuable learning came as a special assignment teacher on a Literacy Improvement Project.
When I finally settled in as junior teacher, I completed my math specialist, finding working with students and numbers to be my favourite role so far!

Teaching is all about finding the right balance! Students need to explore and create meaning for themselves, but still need instruction for fundamental skills and concepts.
