Marble Movers Engineering Challenge
Miss Challenge's Engineering Challenges! This activity is just one in a series of engineering challenges that I present to my students as we study STEM. With this activity, students collaborate to plan out a way to move a marble according to certain qualifications. The friendly competition includes team-building, engineering, science (plenty of physics!) and measurement (how far did your marble travel?). Good luck and have fun!

Experience
As a Gifted and Talented teacher, a have a lot of experience in many content areas and many grades. I provide enrichment opportunities for both small groups of high-ability students and differentiated instruction for whole classes.
Teaching style
I believe that every student deserves a challenge. With differentiated activities, we provide all children the chance to think and to work hard to come to an answer. No matter what level they are working at, students should use several skills while working on one question to help develop problem-solving strategies. I always tell my students: There's no such thing as "I can't." You just haven't yet!
