About the store
I've been teaching for over 12 years now. I've taught general elementary school as well as several years in Gifted and Talented classes! I LOVE to be creative while teaching, it helps keep my students and myself engaged in the daily lessons. I like to keep each year new and exciting and different. It keeps me on my toes! I also specialize in math! At some point in my future I'd like to be a math coach in an elementary school assisting teaching and students enhance those basic math skills!

Teaching style

Creative and patient! I use technology on a daily basis and really enjoy creating new activities that my colleagues might also enjoy! I believe that students minds are like sponges just waiting to soak up all of the basic and wonderful information during their primary years. I believe in challenging all students, no matter their ability, because when a students goes beyond their own limits the possibilities of what they can achieve are endless!

Awards & shining teacher moments

I was featured as a guest blogger on a well known teachers website: reallygoodstuff.com! I was asked to be a guest blogger and write an article for them. It was an amazing experience! Check it out: http://blog.reallygoodstuff.com/finding-writing-success-in-colored-pencils/
