Hello! I am currently a third grade teacher and love learning more about our new common core standards! I am a GATE certified teacher and love to create lesson plans that allow for our students to think deeper! Long Division Hamburger
Ever heard of the long division acronym, "Dad, Mother, Sister, Brother?" Well... this acronym is MUCH more fun for our kiddos to remember! "Does McDonalds Serve Burgers?" Attached is a template to create a flap-book hamburger to label out each part. It is a great product to make for an open house project! Students take time to color each hamburger part and label out the steps. The flaps are listed out as:
1. Bun & Lettuce: Students write the word DOES (divide) on the lettuce

Multiplication Assessments 0-12
Each test is a two minute assessment based on multiplication math facts. The tests are arranged from easiest to hardest, beginning with 0s, 1s, 2s, 5s, and 10s. Each test has 20 facts based on the current number they are working on, and then 20 facts that are review from previous tests. Two minutes should be allotted to complete this 40-question test!

Common Core Quadrilaterals Evaluation
Students will use their knowledge of square, rectangle, parallelogram, rhombus, and trapezoid to identify and evaluate the attributes of each figure. The worksheet provides the quadrilateral, asks students to identify and then describe its features.
