The first few slides are guided notes to teach students how to use a protractor to measure/draw angles and a review of right, acute, and obtuse angles. After giving my students some models of polyhedrons to look at and explore, I pass out these notes to them to complete. The first two slides are note pages that everyone completes together and the third slide is a half sheet with small pictures of polyhedrons the students need to cut out and glue on their notes. There is also a set of modified notes for students who are working on identifying basic shapes.

I give students the boards along with baggies filled with the picture cards (cut-out) and actual items that can also be categorized to work on sorting and classifying based on shape and color.

Here is a handout for students on perimeter, area of rectangles and triangles, and circumference. There is a page (front and back) of formulas and examples, then there is a page (front and back) for students to go out on the playground with a tape measure or yardstick and calculate the area, perimeter, and circumference of shapes they find.
