Miss Fedderke's Classroom

I am currently teaching second grade special education. I have previously taught reading intervention for grades 1-4 for one year and special education for grades 6-8 for two years.

I do a lot of small group teaching and reteaching in my room. I am blessed with a paraprofessional for my reading class, who works on sight word practice, building words, and reading skills with my students. We do a lot of center-type activities.

I graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Education. I am a certified Intervention Specialist K-12.

I love teaching and working with kids with special needs. It can be challenging at times, but also so worth it! When a kid has been struggling with a subject and finally "get's it!" That's pretty awesome!
