With this, you get three sheets of Doodle Notes for the three main types of Economies. Command, Market and Mixed. My students do not need to go in depth with the types of economies for our World History Curriculum but they do need to have a basic understanding so these notes worked perfect. For an Economics course you may want something a bit more in depth but this could work as a great warm-up or exit ticket. Can be used with a textbook, powerpoint or internet search to complete. **Pleas
A Webquest that utilizes two sites to give students basic information about the causes and impacts of the Industrial Revolution. Looks at both the British and American perspectives.
This is a chart that is suitable for High School or Middle School to gather some basic information on the Ancient River Valley Civilizations of Mesopotamia, Indus, Egypt and China. The information can be gathered from a text or the internet, but I also included a website that I use (Not created by me) to have a one stop shop for the information.
This is a great mini project for students learning about the French Revolution. It gives them a time frame and limits on what they can include in their presentation. It teaches them to identify important information while leaving out what is not necessary.
This lesson plan introduces students to the conditions that lead up to the Communist Revolution. Using primary sources they read, discuss, and interpret documents to come to an understanding for the reasons that communism developed.
Have students play a vocabulary BINGO set. I had the students use projects they had created (Using a rubric I found on this site) to fill out the BINGO cards. You could also have them use text or website. Whoever gets it filled out first wins!
I created these questions to ensure that my students were reading the book The Little Ice Age by Brian Fagan. They are basic level reading questions that could be adapted for a more challenging assignment, although if you have read this book you understand that might be challenge enough!
