After 10 years of teaching, I've personally found this to be the most successful weekly overview I've used. You can edit the template to adjust how many sessions you teach per week, and how many breaks you have. I include quite a bit of detail in my planner, but you can remove this to just include more basic information. I've also included two boxes at the top for reminders and jobs to complete, which I've found to be handy to keep me focussed and organised for the week. I hope you find this

I love to use this ice-breaker activity at the start of the year with my new class. Students always enjoy the chance to move around the classroom and it reinforces manners and friendliness. I hope you find this resource useful too!

This is a handy resource to use during Reading sessions with your class. I've used this at the Grade 3 and Grade 4 level, but you could certainly adapt it to use with younger and older students. I suggest explaining and demonstrating each activity briefly to the class, so that students can then work independently on this grid during reading sessions. The two grids could be printed off for students or alternatively you could display it on your Interactive Whiteboard throughout your Reading lesson
