About the store

I've been in education for over a decade, teaching everything from elementary to middle school Social Studies and STEM. I know that if students don't find an activity interesting, they're not going to enjoy it or learn from it.

Experience

Teaching style

My teaching style is very hands on for students, hands off for me. I believe that students can learn as much from failure as they can from success.

My own education history

I have an Associates Degree in Arts and Science, a Bachelor Degree in Science with a major in Social Studies and a minor in Elementary Education, a Masters degree in Learning, Design, and Technology as well as a doctorate of Educational Technology. I have certifications in MakeyMakey Code.org curriculum training, Creative Learning Systems STEM lab curriculum training, Rewards Literacy Intervention training, Phonics for Reading intervention training and Data Wise training.
