About the store
Currently, I work in a private catholic school, working in our diocese's special education program. My past classroom experiences include daily substitute teaching in a rural public school district; a first-grade teaching assignment and a life skills classroom aide position in an affluent public school district; and an emotional and behavioral support teaching position in a low-income public school district. Additionally, my passion for classical ballet has led to many years teaching traditional ballet technique and choreography to a wide age-range of dancers. I have taught in both formal conservatory-dance programs (ages four through adult), and have also taught college-level introductory dance courses.

Teaching style

With over ten years of teaching experience, I have found that if you hold your students to a high standard, and you establish a learning environment of safety, positivity, encouragement, and growth, then your students will find both academic and personal success. A believer in both the Theory of Multiple Intelligences, as well as the Zone of Proximal Development, educators are a crucial factor in our students' achievement. If we build our classrooms for success, then only good things can come.
