I created these templates, activities and questions to enable students to reflect on the power of a parable, the purpose of a parable and create a deeper connection with the story. Let’s find out the why! There are a mixture of templates to choose from ranging from Prep age up to Grade 6 that are easy to challenge and extend. This may be through reflecting on the story, creating a connection to their personal life, to other stories they have read or to the world which could include other religio

Say no too said and use these 63 alternatives instead... I created this resource to challenge the minds of young Christians. It’s easy to delve into a scripture story and sequence it, or draw a picture of a story you’ve read as a class, but being challenged to think more deeply - that’s where it’s at. I believe there is no right or wrong when approaching the following questions as each Christian has a different perspective they bring, and a different relationship with God. The 14 questions were/are designed to deepen the level of thinking. Use these a
As we head out of Lent and into ordinary time there are 3 important dates to consider; The Ascension of Jesus, Pentecost and Trinity Sunday. As teachers, sometimes we become time poor leading to us to scramble around looking for something that is quick, easy and engaging for the students. So I have created this! The 12 two-step problems are targeted at Grade 5,6, and 7. They are a great way to join in the festive season and revise some tricky maths concepts! They cover not only the Math but also Religion and History! I have laminated (of course!) these cards and used them as stations around the room with my students. I also encouraged my students not only to record random numbers but to focus on the language and physically draw the problem out so they can see it visually, especially for map questions
