This ice cream place value match can be created into a game or activity. To create a game, print on coloured paper and laminte to develop a matching game. To create an activity, print out on white paper and students can cut out, colour and glue onto card. You can either cut them out prior so students have to match or you can let the students have the ice cream match already matched depending on students' abilities. This activity allows students to identify different representations of numbers.

Number of the day is an activity that can be used as a warm up or mini lesson before a Mathematics lesson. This resource assists students to learn basic facts of maths including place value and operations. Students can acknowledge various representations of the number selected.
