Here is a set of Happy Birthday pencil badges. You can add the students' names to these, write their birthday on the back, tape them to a Happy Birthday pencil, and place them in a cute vase or jar to create your Happy Birthday bouquet. I use these for my RTI group names so my kindergarten students will know where to go for RTI. The students may go to different groups on different times, depending on their progress. I can remember the level of each group by my super-secret code: Hopping Hares (high), Mimicking Monkeys (mid), Parading Penguins (mid), and Leaping Lizards (low).

I like to keep these on file in my teacher binder that stays on my desk all year. It details all the basic information that a substitute may need.
