This is a fun review game the whole class can play to review measurement. Each student is handed a card that has an I Have category and a Who Has category. For example: I Have 2 inches, Who Has 1 yard. The student with the matching card then reads their card aloud to the class. The game ends when everyone has read their card aloud. Some of the cards are more challenging than others. When I play this with my class I give each student a sticky note. They write the measurement that is on their card
This is a game for two teams of kids to play. The students will be given a multiplication question and the first team to solve the question gets a point. The flipchart is easy to manipulate and is editable.
There are two worksheets that are attached and are editable in Google Slides. The first is labeled as a review, but could also be given as a pretest. The second worksheet is a test. Both front and back worksheets are broken into 2 sections. The first section requires students to draw base-ten shorthand to figure their answer. The next section is for students to use any strategy of their choosing to solve 2 regrouping and 2 non regrouping 3 digit addition problems.
I use garage sale stickers and put them on small crates to hold books. For each sticker there is a symbol for the category it holds. Then, I put a number next to each category to tell the students how many crates there are for each category. I make sure to put a garage sale sticker with the matching label on each book so students can put the books in the correct crates.
