A simple way to review the cardinal directions. Color the arrow in the correct color according to the direction it is pointing.

Once laminated, students use play dough on these boards. Students can subtract numbers 1-6. To start off students roll play dough balls onto the board. Once students know their subtraction problem, they will smash the specific number of balls. For example, if they have an equation that is 6-3 students would smash 3 play dough balls.

Directions: Catching an elf can be tricky business, but luckily not for us! Use your brain to come up with a trap that would capture the elf but not hurt it. You may use any of the following items and must use the candy cane as bait! Pairs well with the book "How to Catch an Elf"

Students match four scoops of ice cream with a cone to specific numbers. The ice cream cones will all have: a cone, an equation, base ten blocks, place value, and the number written out.

Great for students to practice their words using pictures. These are great for centers, stations or students who might finish early. These fit inside a school box great and you can have the clothespins inside a plastic bag for them to clip with.

Stack 'Em is a fun way to help students read basic number 1-10 in different ways. The objective of this board is for students to "stack" blocks or any other manipulative on the designated piece on the board.

Students take turns rolling a die and then color in pieces of the giant hexagon. Students will color in one more and one less of the number they roll.

Great way to introduce making a brochure and wrap up a state research project.
