Students can use fraction bars, number lines, or fraction models to determine if the fraction math sentences are true or false. Then on the back they can show their mastery by completing their own < > and = sentences about fractions.

These homework assignments have been designed to encourage the application of basic math skills learned in the classroom. Students are asked to solve the word problem in a blank space using words, pictures, or numbers. They also write an explanation at the bottom of the page to show the steps they took to solve the problem.
