About the store
I have been a teacher since 2003. I started out as a Reading Intervention Specialist. I have also taught Second and Third Grade and worked with students in first through fourth grades in the Title 1 Math program. Since 2009 I have worked in Gifted Education. I am currently a Gifted Intervention Specialist, teaching the third through fifth grade gifted program at Tyler Run Elementary School.

Ohio has now granted schools the ability to create online assignments for students to complete on snow days. Here's what I have created for my Title 1 Math students. There are nine different activities to choose from. They pick one math activity to complete at home for each day they are out. To show proof that the activity was completed, there are lists or questions that they have to write down and turn in as well as a parent signature. Teaching style
My goal is to encourage my students to inquire, question, think outside of the box, work collaboratively, learn, unlearn, and relearn throughout their educational journey. I want for them to leave my classroom with the skills to be resourceful, driven, creative, and unafraid of taking educational risks.
