I teach science at the middle and high school level in an alternative school setting. Most of my curriculum is grounded in place-based learning with the goal of connecting students to the world around them through science and science explorations.

Teaching style

I like to use guided notes and slides to provide background information and vocabulary and then inquiry-based labs and investigations to lead learning. I also like choice-based projects that allow students to explore their own interests.
