Decimal of the Day - Daily Warm Up/Bell Ringer - 5.2A, 5.2B, 5.2C
The “Decimal of the Day” activity is a quick, effective warm-up that builds 5th grade students’ decimal understanding through daily practice. Students work with one decimal each day, practicing word form, expanded notation, fraction form, rounding, comparing, and multiplying/dividing by multiples of ten. This routine strengthens number sense and supports mastery of TEKS 5.2A, 5.2B, and 5.2C.
