I'm using this for their "homework" activity. Premise is that students are to go out in their backyard, neighborhood, park, etc. and record their observations about nature. When I was a kid, a teacher of mine inspired me to log down the cool things I noticed (as a teacher now.. it's probably because she got tired of me asking to share all the time!). If you're using Class Dojo, this is a great way for them to "Cash in" their rewards! They must "write a check" to the teacher expressing the amount they want to use in Standard & Written Form! A great way for classroom management & also to put the REAL WORLD in the classroom! How I will use it: I'm going to laminate these and give each student ONE check. that way they can only purchase one item a day! There will also be a "check box" where they turn drop off their checks. This way they aren't
