Order of Operations Ice Cream Scoops

Created by

This activity is a fun way for students to demonstrate their understanding of the order of operations! Students are expected to create an ice cream cone, with the cone representing their starting equation, and the final scoop representing their answer. Enclosed is the activity sheet with step by step instructions for students to follow, along with guidelines to serve as a checklist. The activity can also be altered depending on the season to snowballs, where the students will create a snowman!
