This activity walks students through the process of creating a 3D model of the unit circle with a paper plate, and emphasizes the 30-60-90 and 45-45-90 triangle relationships to create accurate measurements and motivate the coordinates of the unit circle. It also reveals patterns in the radians and degrees to motivate a deep understanding of how the unit circle works.

This is intended to introduce Math 2 geometry terms. Students will explore their daily life for instances of geometry. They will create a slideshow of their findings.
