I created this as an activity for students to celebrate Black history up to the present times. Students can research and include any people or topics that interest them. You could either provide a few options for math skills to use, or let them choose on their own. When students choose on their own, it does take more time. We usually do this in 1 class period and if they don't finish, it's homework. I include their questions in our classwork or do now in February. You could adapt the questions
