I have been teaching for 8+ years in various settings. I've taught IEW writing bootcamps as well as private tutoring, helped teach at Classical Conversations, lived in Bangladesh for 2 years teaching English, taught at San Jose Calvary Christian Academy -- A Classical School in CA for 5 years -- and most recently homeschool my three preschool-aged children.
Teaching is a passion that I was at first resistant to, but now have embraced fully. I love learning along side my children and watching as their world expands, their eyes fill with wonder, and their hearts over flow with compassion.

Experience
I have been teaching for 8+ years in various settings. I've taught IEW writing bootcamps as well as private tutoring, helped teach at Classical Conversations, lived in Bangladesh for 2 years teaching English, taught at San Jose Calvary Christian Academy -- A Classical School in CA for 5 years -- and most recently homeschool my three preschool-aged children.

Teaching style
I absolutely love the classical Christian/Charlotte Mason model with its living books, amazing curriculum, and God centered subjects.
I enjoy having fun with my students as we sing songs, memorize information, and learn about great men and women in History and the Bible.
My goal as a teacher is to be hands-on, using their WHOLE body to learn.
I raise the bar high, knowing that my students can achieve it. I aim to be their cheerleader, mentor, and accountability as we learn about God's world together.
My own education history
I was homeschooled using various classical curriculum and through various part time schools: Pioneer Family Academy (PFA) and HEART Academy
I Graduated from California Baptist University (CBU) in Riverside with a Major in Health Education and a minor in Kinesiology.
As preparation for living in Bangladesh, I attended a three month, intensive semminary course.
Additional biographical information
In 2018 I married my best friend and partner in crime. We love the Lord and seek to do all for His glory. I LOVE reading living, helpful books. As a past athlete, I try to keep up a workout routine.
I am a mother of 3 little girls and love teaching them at home.
