"Let's Start the Year Off Write" is the perfect beginning of the year bulletin board. It is interactive so parents can write on it for meet the teacher night or your students can write on it the first day of school. You could even encourage other classroom teachers/staff to write on it alongside their students. I asked everyone to set goals for the new school year. C.H.A.M.P.S is a classroom management tool and a visual reference for students. During small group lessons or independent work especially, students may have missed directions on how loud/who/how they work on the assignment. This is a digital and paper math activity for your seasonal bulletin boards. In my example, I used rounding to the nearest tens using three digit numbers. However, you can use this for rounding to hundreds or tens. You can use two digit numbers or even four. You could also have students write related equations to numbers of yours or their choice.
